Snorkeling with manatees in Florida is one of many family-friendly travel opportunities. © Ryan McClellanWant to take your children on something more than just the average family vacation? Looking to inspire your budding marine biologist? Want to broaden your child's horizons and nurture a lifelong appreciation for nature? So do we!

Join Oceanic Society for one of many family-friendly expeditions, or contact us to arrange your custom trip.

Many of our travel programs and whale watching tours are well-suited for families. See the list below of our upcoming trips that are particularly family-friendly.

We have also designed an award-winning, week-long, hands-on family program at our Blackbird Caye Field Station in Belize, that is offered every year for a limited number of weeks during the summer. The program, called Belize Family Week, invites you and your family to join Oceanic Society biologists and Belizean researchers for a family field study of marine wildlife including dolphins, manatees, coral reefs, and sea turtles.
